Airport Executive Director Jeff Hauser has a special bond with Terre Haute. That’s why, when it came time for the Brigadier General to retire from the Indiana Air National Guard, he chose to have the ceremony conducted in Terre Haute. Brigadier General Hauser has a long illustrious military career. It began in Terre Haute in 1980, when he was a Weapons Loader with the Indiana Air National Guard. His aviation career includes more than 2,000 hours flying and instructing in the F-16, F-4, T-38, and T-37 and he was instrumental in the transition of the 181st Fighter Wing to 181st Intelligence Wing. Most recently, he served as the principal advisor to the Adjutant General on all programs and operations affecting the Indiana Air National Guard ensuring both federal and state mission readiness. Saturday’s ceremony included presentation of an Indiana Distinguished Service recognition and a Sagamore of the Wabash.
